To complement weekly lessons, cellists will have the opportunity to perform their solo repertoire in a supportive environment and play with other cellists in a cello ensemble. Through these opportunities, we will work on various musicianship skills, including sight-reading and tackling performance anxiety. Each student is encouraged to present either a polished or a work-in-progress piece at two or more classes. This will help provide clear monthly goals for each student in their practice.
