Chamber Music for Strings Summer Workshop

Opus Ithaca is pleased to offer a 3 day strings chamber music workshop for intermediate to advanced string players, ages 11-adult. Violin, viola, cello and bass players welcome!
Over the course of the workshop, participants will work in assigned groups coached by Opus faculty to prepare pieces for a culminating performance. Outside of chamber music rehearsals, participants will have opportunities to practice performing in supportive group masterclasses, as well as expanding their musical knowledge through music theory classes and improvisation sessions. Whether you are already a chamber music lover, or are looking for a chance to learn something brand new, this workshop will be a cherished opportunity for musical growth and expression!
Students must provide their own bag lunches for the week.

9:30 am – 3:30 pm
Cost: $240/student, scholarships available.

Opus Ithaca Camp Refund Policy:
2 weeks + prior to the camp start date— If for some reason a student needs to withdraw registration from camp, Opus Ithaca will refund half of the price of the camp.
Under 2 weeks to start of camp— No refunds can be given.
