Jazz Camp

We are still registering for horns, piano, bass and guitar. Please do not register if you are a drummer. We are at max capacity for drums. Please feel free to reach out to lizshuhan@opusithaca.org if you have any questions.

Join us for a week of jazz, improvisation, jazz history, listening, and all things jazz! We will have introductory-level groups, as well as more advanced groups, based on experience and ability. Faculty will include Seth Carper, Paul Merrill, Peter Chwazik and Melissa Gardiner. Jazz Camp 2025 guest artists will be announced later in the spring.

This camp is for drum, bass, guitar, piano, brass, and woodwind students. Students must have at least two years of experience playing their instrument, or be playing at NYSSMA levels 2-6.

Students must provide their own bag lunches for the week.

9:30AM-3:30PM

$370/student, scholarships available.

Opus Ithaca Camp Refund Policy:

2 weeks prior to the camp start date— If for some reason a student needs to withdraw registration from camp, Opus Ithaca will refund half of the price of the camp.

Under 2 weeks to start of camp— No refunds can be given
