PIANO INSTRUCTOR – PART TIME

Opus Ithaca is seeking a piano instructor to teach all ages and levels (jazz or traditional/classical).

– 5-20 hours per week at Opus Ithaca

– Starting Summer/Fall 2023

– Private lessons and/or group classes

– $47.50 per hour/ $55 per hour for group classes

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance or Music Education, Master’s degree preferred.

– Minimum 3 years of experience teaching and ability to collaborate with other faculty.

VOICE TEACHER – PART TIME

Opus Ithaca is seeking a voice teacher to teach ages 12 + to adult.

– 5-15 hours per week at Opus Ithaca

– Starting Summer/Fall 2023

– Private lessons

– $47.50 per hour

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance or Music Education, Master’s degree preferred.

– Minimum 3 years of experience teaching and ability to collaborate with other faculty.

DOUBLE BASS TEACHER – PART TIME

Opus Ithaca is seeking a double bass instructor to teach all ages and levels (traditional/classical and jazz).

– 5-20 hours per week at Opus Ithaca

– Starting Summer/Fall 2023

– Private lessons and/or group classes

– $47.50 per hour/ $55 per hour for group classes

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Double Bass Performance or Music Education, Master’s degree preferred.

– Minimum 3 years of experience teaching and ability to collaborate with other faculty.

EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC INSTRUCTOR – PART TIME

Opus Ithaca is seeking a music teacher for babies up to age 3 to run morning classes.

– Approximately 3-5 hours a week at Opus Ithaca (mornings)

– Starting Fall 2023

– Group classes

– $55 per hour

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Music, Master’s degree preferred

– Minimum 3 years of experience teaching and ability to collaborate with other faculty.
