Mirinae Park

Violin instruction

Mirinae (Miri) Park is a violinist born in Ulsan, South Korea. She graduated from Busan Arts High School and completed her studies at Sungshin Women’s University’s Instrumental Music Department, graduating in second place.

Miri served as principal second violin for orchestra performances at the Seoul Arts Center and has performed at APEC Summit celebrations in Honolulu, Hawaii, among numerous other performance experiences throughout her career. Miri’s artistic achievements include winning the Grand Prize at the Gaecheon Arts Festival and receiving various awards that recognize her musical excellence.

With 13 years of teaching experience, Miri has worked with students of diverse ages, from 5-year-olds to those in their 60s. Her students have successfully gained admission to music schools, reflecting her effective pedagogical approach. Her teaching style emphasizes the importance of strong technical foundation while encouraging students to explore various musical genres and attend concerts to broaden their musical understanding.

Miri recently moved to Ithaca, where she has fallen in love with the natural beauty of the area. As a nature enthusiast, she thoroughly enjoys exploring the outdoors and embracing the scenic environment that Ithaca offers.
