Rebecca Witty

Voice instruction

Rebecca Witty has made her mark on the opera and concert stage with her memorable voice and dramatic stage presence. She has participated in several prestigious artist training programs including Santa Fe Opera, Sarasota Opera, and Des Moines Metro Opera. Her repertoire spans a wide range from Aida and other Verdi heroines to Mozart’s leading ladies of the Countess Almaviva and Fiordiligi. In 2014, as an apprentice artist, Ms. Witty sang the role of Lu Mu-Zhen in the North American premiere of “Dr. Sun Yat-Sen” with Santa Fe Opera. As a concert soloist she has had the pleasure of singing at some of the best venues in the country including Mozart’s requiem and Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy at Carnegie Hall.

Rebecca is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and Houghton College. She lives locally with her husband and newborn son.
