Cello instruction

Hannah Soren is an active educator, performer, and artist in Ithaca, NY. Hannah graduated with a Master’s of Music as well as a Professional Studies Certificate in Cello Performance from Boston Conservatory at Berklee and received her Bachelor’s of Music from the University of Louisville. With a passion for contemporary music, she has premiered countless compositions by young composers and friends and took part in the Interdisciplinary Arts Institute at Berklee College of Music with a focus on multimedia. During past summers, she has been awarded fellowships at the AIMS in Graz, Austria festival orchestra (‘22), Texas Music Festival (‘19), Atlantic Music Festival (‘18), and National Music
Festival (‘18).

As an educator, Hannah believes in music education for all and prioritizes the physical and mental wellness of each individual.

In her free time, Hannah has been exploring early music performance and gamelan ensemble at Cornell University, creating visual art, and learning to forage.
