Annie Lewandowski is a teacher, composer, and internationally performing pianist with backgrounds in classical, improvised and popular music. She recently moved to Ithaca, where she is now a part-time music lecturer at Cornell University. She has taught musicianship at Mills College in Oakland, California, facilitated musical improvisation workshops in the United States and England, and tutored for Advanced Placement Music Theory. She has maintained a thriving private piano studio for students aged four to fifty for over ten years.
Mrs. Lewandowski holds a BA degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the College of St. Catherine, and an MFA degree in Music Performance and Literature with a specialization in Improvisation from Mills College. She has been the recipient of several awards for performance and recording, and is featured on numerous recordings.
